Montana Elk, Mule Deer, & Antelope Guide
Archery Elk
This archery elk hunt is one of the best in the state, in my opinion. The hunt takes place on a nearly 40,000 acre private ranch in Eastern Montana.
The elk here get old and big due to primarily private land and very few rifle tags given out. The land is comprised of 3 main creek drainages surrounded by other
drainages that cut through some pine hill breaks country. The elk like to hang in the timber, but sometimes choose to bed in open areas comprised of only sage brush and
grass. Because of this more open country and larger concentration of elk population, we pretty much see elk every day. I guided 4 hunts last year and my hunter's
took a 300+ bull in each hunt (See pictures below). Almost every hunter took a shot at a bull in 2009. I believe the number were 11 of 13 archery elk hunters had a shot in 2009 ~85%
A 373" bull (pictured below) and a 380" bull were taken off the ranch in 2009.

Mule Deer
Mule deer hunts take place on different private ranches near Miles City, MT. We have hunting rights on over 6 ranches for nearly 200,000 acres of great mule deer country.
We typically only take mature bucks, so the bucks on these ranches have a chance to get old and big. Check out the photos from my hunters in 2009, below:

Antelope
Typically combined with Archery Elk or Rifle Mule Deer Hunt. Must draw special buck antelope permit.
